We are delighted to partner with a leading real estate organisation to appoint a Building Surveyor/Project Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-performing team.
You will be operating in an advisory capacity, to ensure a consistent and quality approach to building remediation/building safety by managing agents, developers and consultants.
Responsibilities:
Provide in-house building surveying and construction expertise
Project manage and monitor multiple major building remediation projects addressing construction and fire safety defects for multiple occupancy buildings
Ensure the company meets both statutory and non-statutory responsibilities in relation to legislation and Building Regulations
Provide advice on all building surveying, project management and health and safety matters across the portfolio
Experience/Memberships:
Building Surveying degree or an equivalent level qualification
RICS, RIBA, MCIOB
Knowledge and experience of Building Regulations, the H&S regulatory framework, property law, property construction and building maintenance
Engage with external stakeholders (Fire Service, HSE, Local Authority Enforcement, Building Safety Regulator and Primary Authority Partner)
The salary is dependent on experience, knowledge and expertise. This is an exceptional hybrid opportunity not to be missed. Your time will be split between working in the London office, from home and visiting sites.
