Heathgate Search is delighted to partner with an award-winning Consultancy in Glasgow or Edinburgh to appoint a Fire Safety Consultant.
My client is looking for a competent Fire Safety professional to support clients across a variety of industries throughout Glasgow or Edinburgh. You will also have the option of a company vehicle or a monthly car allowance on top of your salary.
Responsibilities:
Conduct fire risk assessments in line with the PAS79 and BAFE standards.
Provide quality assurance on Fire Risk Assessments
Carry out Type 1, 2 and 3 Fire Risk assessments
Provide Fire Safety training to members of the Health and Safety team
Carry out Health and Safety site visits when required
Skills and Qualifications:
NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate or an equivalent level qualification | Fire Risk Assessor qualification
Fire Safety Membership (IFE or IFSM)
First class communication and interpersonal skills
NEBOSH General Certificate
This is a fantastic Fire, Health and Safety opportunity with a great organisation and team. You will be carrying our fire risk assessments throughout the week on office blocks, retail sites and some HRRB (Care homes) etc.
