We are delighted to partner exclusively with a fantastic Charity in Kent to appoint a Head of Facilities Management. Your time will be split between the Head Office, travelling nationally and working from home.
You will oversee the delivery of a full range of facilities management services, including asset management and building maintenance.
Key responsibilities:
Provide strategic planning for the Charity's estate, facilities Management and contractor management
Oversee total facilities management, health and safety, asset management, quality/compliance, energy management and sustainability
Performance manage staff/contractors, drive a culture of safety and ensure legal compliance
Project manage multi-million pound projects including new builds and refurbishments,
Attend board meetings, produce detailed presentations and reports and manage the annual budget
Source and manage suitable contractors for maintenance works and services, including competitive tendering
Experience and Qualifications
In-depth experience as a Facilities Manager
Experience leading teams and managing contractors and budgets
Maintain Quest and ISO accreditations
Experience within the Facilities, Charity, Leisure, Property, Care, Retail or Housing sectors or a transferable industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of health and safety legislation and statutory frameworks for commercial properties
