Heathgate Search is delighted to exclusively partner with a leading Housing Association to appoint a Senior Fire Safety Advisor. This is a hybrid role and you can be based from anywhere in the South of England.
Responsibilities
Support the delivery of the fire risk assessment programme and carry out fire incident investigations
Provide quality assurance on fire risk assessments, manage FRA, provide fire safety training and embed a positive fire safety culture
Be the point of contact for Fire and Rescue Service inspections/audits
Knowledge and practical application of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Building Regulations and the Housing Act 2004. Conversant in the understanding of the Fire Safety Act 2021 and the Building Safety Act 2022.
Qualifications | Soft skills
Level 4 Award in Fire Safety or similar
NEBOSH Fire Risk Management certificate
Tier 2 or Level 3-4 or equivalent Fire Risk Assessment experience with high-life risk residential buildings in accordance with a recognised standard
A track record of successfully managing Fire Risk Assessment programmes within a Social Housing environment or similar
Membership of the IFE or IFSM
