We are delighted to partner with a leading construction business in North West London to appoint an experienced Head of Health and Safety. Your time will be split between visiting projects across London and working from the North West London HQ.
The salary is between £60,000 - £70,000 per annum depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide Health and Safety advice/guidance and ensure compliance with legislation
Advise the management team on all safety matters and ensure all safety standards are being met across each project
Conduct risk assessments, site inspections and audits
Write Health and Safety policies/procedures
Investigate incidents/accidents and complete RIDDOR's
Assess and approve subcontractors, conduct safety meetings and manage all accreditations
Induct new staff, Identify training needs and review competence
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
NEBOSH Diploma
In-depth experience within the construction sector and rail industry (desirable)
Experience overseeing multiple projects
Experience or knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, CHAS and Construction Line
You will need to have strong leadership skills and ensure all projects are delivered safely. In return, you will have the opportunity to lead the Health and Safety function for an exceptional business that values its staff and cares about delivering a first-class service.
