We are delighted to partner exclusively with a leading construction business to appoint a Health and Safety Manager. Your time will be split between visiting sites across London and working from the head office.
This is a full-time on-site role and the working hours are 7am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 4pm on a Friday. The salary is dependent on experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide competent Health and Safety advice and guidance
Complete RAMS, site inspections and audits
Raise Health and Safety standards, drive the culture forward and ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation (Health and Safety at Work Act, Working at height, PUWER, CDM regulations and RIDDOR, etc)
Deliver toolbox talks, investigate incidents and accidents and complete reports
Experience, qualifications and skills:
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent or a NEBOSH Construction Certificate
In-depth experience in the construction industry (Scaffolding is desirable)
Highly motivated with a good attitude
Experience working multiple sites
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and competent I.T and administrative skills
